These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms”) apply to SMS and MMS text messages sent by or on behalf of the brand(s) and legal entity/entities expressly named in the SMS consent disclosure you accepted.

The participating SMS senders may include:

  • License.US — AB License LLC;
  • License.US.School — AB License LLC;
  • License.US.Course — AMV Port LLC.

Each is a “Participating Sender,” and together they may be referred to as the “License.US Multi-Brand SMS Program.” Depending on the context, “we,” “us,” and “our” means the Participating Sender(s) expressly named in the SMS opt-in disclosure you accepted.

These SMS Terms do not apply to WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, email, or voice calls. Those channels may be used separately when you request or choose them as a contact method.

1. Seller and Message Sender

License.US.Course is a private educational platform that offers educational materials, continuing-education courses, exam-preparation materials, licensing-related educational resources, and professional skills courses. License.US.Course is not a government licensing board.

By checking an SMS consent box on a License.US.Course web form, signing or submitting another written or electronic SMS consent, replying to an opt-in text with a confirmation such as YES or START, or otherwise providing legally valid consent, you authorize AMV Port LLC to send SMS/MMS text messages to the mobile phone number you provide.

Your SMS consent applies only to AMV Port LLC and the License.US.Course SMS Program. Your consent is not transferable or assignable to another seller, brand, partner, affiliate, school, government agency, or third-party advertiser.

Providing a phone number, selecting a callback option, or choosing WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, or phone call as a contact preference does not by itself enroll you in recurring SMS/MMS texts, unless you separately opt in to SMS/MMS messages or you initiate a text exchange with us and we respond to your request.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide and that you are authorized to consent to receive texts at that number.

Your consent to receive SMS/MMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing, enrolling in, or using any License.US.Course goods or services.

3. Types of SMS/MMS Messages

If you opt in to service or informational SMS/MMS messages, the Participating Sender(s) named in your opt-in disclosure may send messages related to your inquiries, requests, services, courses, account, enrollment, appointments, customer support, course access, completion, certificates, administrative notices, and other service-related notifications.

Service and informational SMS/MMS messages are not intended to include marketing or promotional content.

If you separately opt in to marketing SMS/MMS messages, the Participating Sender(s) named in your opt-in disclosure may send promotional or marketing messages about educational products and services, including courses, CE courses, exam-preparation materials, online skills courses, course availability, offers, discounts, events, webinars, news, and related educational opportunities.

We will not use a service or informational SMS opt-in as consent to send marketing SMS/MMS messages.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the Participating Sender(s).

Service and informational SMS/MMS: frequency varies based on your requests, service interactions, account activity, appointments, courses, enrollment, support needs, or other service-related activity.

Marketing SMS/MMS, if separately consented to: up to 4 marketing messages per month in total across the Participating Sender(s) named in your opt-in disclosure.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s rates, billing terms, and other charges apply to SMS/MMS messages you send or receive. Charges may vary depending on your mobile plan and whether messages are sent or received domestically or internationally.

6. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS/MMS messages at any time.

Reply STOP to any SMS/MMS message from the License.US Multi-Brand SMS Program to opt out.

A STOP request will opt you out of SMS/MMS messages requiring consent from the Participating Sender(s) named in the applicable opt-in disclosure, unless you later provide new consent.

We will honor opt-out requests within a reasonable time, not to exceed 10 business days after receipt. We typically process standard STOP replies sooner.

After you opt out, we may send one final confirmation message to confirm that your opt-out request has been processed. After that, we will not send further SMS/MMS messages requiring consent to that mobile number unless you later provide new consent or initiate a text exchange and our response is directly related to your request.

If you have separately consented to more than one SMS category, such as service SMS and marketing SMS, we may send one confirmation or clarification message to determine whether your opt-out applies to all categories. If you do not clarify, we will treat your opt-out as applying to all License.US.Course SMS/MMS messages requiring consent.

Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent records will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share SMS-related information with service providers that help us operate the SMS program, such as messaging platforms, telecommunications carriers, aggregators, compliance vendors, and technical service providers, solely as needed to deliver, route, secure, monitor, or support SMS/MMS messages. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, systems, or services.

9. Message Delivery

SMS/MMS delivery is not guaranteed. Delivery may be delayed or unavailable due to carrier, network, device, technical, or other issues outside our control. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes to these SMS Terms will not be used to expand your SMS consent to materially different message categories without obtaining any additional consent required by law or applicable messaging standards.
